The graffiti initiative.
The Manchester Police Department and Manchester Crimeline are proud to announce the newest proactive approach to combat quality of life issues within the City of Manchester. Operation G.R.I.T., which stands for Graffiti Removal Intel Tips, is an effort to use the public's help to address the problem of graffiti in the Queen City.
Residents are encouraged to report any information regarding suspects that may be responsible for graffiti vandalism in Manchester.
Information used to make an arrest for graffiti will be given a minimum reward of $500. Submitting a tip is easy. Simply click the "submit a tip" tab on the top of this page-in the navigation. Go to the "crime reported" dropdown menu and click "graffiti". Enter the information regarding the suspects you believe are responsible, along with any pertinent information, and even upload a photo of the graffiti or suspects, then hit "submit". If the information provided is used to make an arrest for a graffiti related crime, you will be eligible for a reward.
Once you notice that the suspect has been arrested, you can submit a follow-up message to the police department through this website using your CrimeLine number.
